Regular ongoing customers enjoy use of our web-based reporting which can provide information on defects, trends and efficiency. We are an approved supplier to GM, Honda, Ford, Hyundai, BMW, Mercedes and others. We are also an approved General Motors CS2 provider.

PS³

PS3 is a formal process created by Preferred Sourcing Engineers that is aimed at improving a manufacturing facilities products, processes, quality systems, and financial position. The process is ideal for eliminating reoccurring problems that, in the past, have been solved only temporarily by “quick fixes” or 100% inspection.

Training Solutions

Preferred Sourcing offers many training solutions to help your organization meet quality goals. We are a certified General Motors QSB (Quality Systems Basics) Provider. We also offer Design and Process – FMEA training to help your engineers use this proactive quality improvement tool. Error Proofing is a course taught to help your organization utilize our innovative methods to prevent defects. We also teach Lean Principles to help you do more with fewer resources. ISO/TS 16949 courses help companies to seek or improve their compliance with requirements.

Assembly, Sequencing and Testing

Preferred Sourcing staff members and associates have significant experience to help manage your special project. We have handled a vast range of projects including medical kits, sequencing wire harnesses, testing motors on customer provided test stands, servicing ATVs and many others. Our strategically located warehouses with material handling and logistics capabilities allow us the resources to effectively manage all of your project needs.

CMM & Metrology

Preferred Sourcing is equipped to handle CMM measurement at your facility or ours. We have equipment to provide CMM services, Rockwell Hardness Testing, 0-4" Super Mic and Surface Finish Measurement. This newly acquired capability can be of assistance with PPAPs, layout work, verification of supplied parts and several other production issues. The CMM Romer Arm has an 8 foot range and utilizes PC-DMIS software. From fixture and gage certification to parts measurement, let us help you manage your metrology needs more efficiently.

Class A Metal Finishing
