Preferred Sourcing actively seeks and recruits talent for a variety of positions highlighted below:

Inspector
Responsible for the inspection, sorting, rework and containment of customer supplied parts.  The Inspector Associate is the Front Line contact in providing services that are requested by our Customer.

Team Leader
Works as a working inspector of Customer Parts and ensures that the on-site team is completing all customer inspection requirements as outlined in work instructions.  Team Leaders serve as the Front Line Liaison to the Customer.

Field Supervisor
Responsible for field operations and associates at multiple job sites and is expected to build solid working relationships with all Customers and Associates.  The position is responsible for delivery of services as outlined in the contract, effectively monitoring the completion of all projects including reporting, product delivery/logistics, auditing of job sites and communicating with customer management and PS associates and management.  

Supplier Development Engineer
Provides leadership and technical support to improve OEM Supplier's quality systems, develop and strengthen supplier partnership programs and provide feedback to continually improve performance.      The position serves as a liaison between Manufacturing, Design, Purchasing and suppliers to ensure product is defect free, with 100% on time supplier delivery and performance.

Technical Representatives

Provides manufacturing support to OEM's, suppliers and individual customers through a review of their manufacturing processes and on-site representation.  The position maintains a familiarity with all customer products and processes and further recommends changes in procedures, equipment as well as suppliers based on the analysis of information and review of processes through daily on site contact.

Driver
Responsible for the accurate, safe and timely delivery, shipping, unloading and processing of all customer products to and from Preferred Sourcing.  

Warehouse Coordinator
Responsible for all warehouse and storage activities ensuring all customer receipt and shipping of customer materials is met and all appropriate documents are completed accurately and on time as requested.  In essence, the position is responsible for knowing where customer materials/parts are housed and/or in transit at all times.

Operations Manager
Coordinates and develops staffing requirements to ensure the efficient delivery of products and services to the Customer.  The position is directly responsible for training, development of Team Leaders, Inspectors and other Field personnel of the Business Unit to interact and provide high quality service related to containment, inspection, sorting and re-working of customer parts.  

Business Unit Manager
Performs the Plant Management duties for the Business Unit Entity.  The role has direct responsibility for the entire operation including but not limited to Financial (profit/loss), quality, sales and expense budgeting.  The BU Manager has functional responsibility for all aspects of customer service including requests for services, sales quoting, contract review, staffing and allocation of people resources.  The role is responsible for auditing, administration of time entry, delivery of inspection results to the customer and correct billing and collections.  The position is responsible for all sales activities and works closely with Remote and key Account Sales Managers to increase and facilitate sales.

Administrative Assistants
The position is responsible for the timely submission of all reports and paperwork for the BU to the PS Corporate Office as related to payroll/billing, calling in orders to approved temp agencies, scheduling of contract associates and PS Associates for jobs and other administrative duties as requested by the Business Unit Manager.

Area Sales Manager
The Area Sales Manager will develop sales in the assigned area and will assist in building PS sales through a focus on customer corporate accounts. Focus on automotive OEM’s and Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, however profitable non-automotive business is not discouraged.  The ASM is responsible for developing new customer accounts as well as managing existing customer relationships through preparation, sales calls, marketing and referrals.  This position requires familiarity with sales/marketing, as well as established contacts and networking skills, standard sales concepts, practices related to inspection, sorting, re-work, light assembly and quality/engineering training and services.
